Who We Are

West Small Engine Repair, LLC is a small established business of four years that handles the maintenance, diagnosis of issues, minor adjustments, and repair of equipment on most small engine products. We also supply services such as sharpening of blades and chains. The name for West Small Engine Repair, LLC is simply derived from our last name, and the service we supply to support customers. We, James and Kathy West, are equal co-owners as we are with everything in our life. With four grown children and five grandchildren, we have shown our ability for long-term successful relationships since 1995. 

James West, owner of West Small Engine, LLC, has extensive experience with a variety of engine makes and models for equipment and sets our business apart as the smart choice for the local consumer. We can supply maintenance service, equipment repair, engine repair, and general repair or replacement of other equipment parts as needed. Our small backyard business is growing each year by simple word of mouth from our customers. We are fast and efficient.

Mr West done a great job with my cub cadet riding mower. The service was great and he took the time to clean up the engine and mower when he was finished. Reasonably priced and good service. I would recommend West Small Engines to anyone that needs small engine repairs. James was very informative about what was going on with my mower. He called before fixing it to let me know what was wrong & how much it was going to cost to fix it. If you like dealing with honest people that do a good job then James @ West small engines is the man to deal with.

  • If i could give Mr. West 10 stars I would. Mr. West was amazing... He went above and beyond and fixed my lawn tractor..just needed a new belt and new blades and his fees were oh so reasonable! Calling around other businesses I was faced with higher fees and " it will be three weeks before we can get to your lawn tractor" and " we will charge $175 plus for pick up and delivery". I thought nope.. no can do and I did NOT want to wait 3 weeks much less spend waaaayyyy over what i could afford. I contemplated doing the job myself and even studied YouTube and tried.. ended up cutting my finger pretty good 😡 So gave Mr. West a call, rented a U-Haul flatbed and I was able to get my lawn tractor within two days and still be within repair budget!!! I highly recommend you to give Mr. West a call for all your small engine needs. He will do you right!New List Item
